Kashmir alpine lakes trek: Trip Overview

For trekkers, Kashmir's high-altitude lakes are hard to beat. This adventure package includes six days on the trail through alpine meadows and past turquoise lakes.

An experienced guide leads the way, and a camp crew handles tents, meals and luggage. It's suitable for fit beginners and regular trekkers from July to September.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 01: Srinagar Full-Day Local Sightseeing

• We pick you up from Srinagar airport or railway station and drop you at your hotel.
• Visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal and the Shankaracharya Temple.
• Spend the evening strolling along the Boulevard by Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight in Srinagar.

Day 02: Trekking Day

• A full day of trekking through alpine meadows and past high-altitude lakes.
• Our camp crew handles meals, tents and luggage.
• Overnight in camp.

Day 03: Trekking Day

• A full day of trekking through alpine meadows and past high-altitude lakes.
• Our camp crew handles meals, tents and luggage.
• Overnight in camp.

Day 04: Trekking Day

• A full day of trekking through alpine meadows and past high-altitude lakes.
• Our camp crew handles meals, tents and luggage.
• Overnight in camp.

Day 05: Trekking Day

• A full day of trekking through alpine meadows and past high-altitude lakes.
• Our camp crew handles meals, tents and luggage.

Day 08: Srinagar Airport or Railway Station Departure

• After breakfast, check out from your hotel or houseboat by 11 AM.
• Transfer to Srinagar airport or railway station with wonderful memories.
