A 5-day Kashmir itinerary covers Srinagar, Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam as day trips from Srinagar. With 6 days, add a night in Pahalgam to see Aru and Betaab valleys, then finish with a houseboat night on Dal Lake.
Most of our Kashmir packages start and end in Srinagar (airport or railway station). Jammu and Kashmir packages with Mata Vaishno Devi start from Jammu or Katra.
Fly into Srinagar International Airport (SXR), which has direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and other cities. The flight from Delhi takes about 1.5 hours, and trains also run to Srinagar via Katra.
Gulmarg is about 50 km from Srinagar, roughly a 1.5 to 2-hour drive. Sonamarg is about 80 km from Srinagar and Pahalgam about 95 km.

No. These valleys can only be visited in Pahalgam's local union taxis, which are paid directly on the spot.
April to June and September to October are the most popular months. Choose December to February if you want snow and skiing in Gulmarg.
